The Fussy Baby

During the first few months many babies have a fussy period-sometimes referred to as “The Happy Hours” or “Arsenic Hour”.  This can be especially trying for first time parents!  The fears that you will spoil your baby, or that your baby is manipulating you are common, but fear not!  neither of these is a major concern yet!

Every baby has a different personality.  They may be fussy for different reasons.  Are they hungry, over tired, over stimulated, lonely, uncomfortable, or just a high needs child?

Often, movement will calm baby, but it has to be a natural movement.  Their entire existence in utero was movement, they know it well and it is relaxing.
